Dana is a caterpillar who doesn't want to be a caterpillar, but learns that self-acceptance can change them in ways that make them lighter than air.
It was a warm, sunny summer day out in the meadow. All the flowers were in full bloom, and a light wind made all the plants sway as if they were dancing to the same song. On the leaf of one plant, there was a little caterpillar with yellow and black stripes named Dana. Something was bothering them very deeply, and they did not look happy at all. Dana is a caterpillar who doesn't want to be a caterpillar. All they do is eat, sleep and not much else. As they munch along, Dana meets different characters who affect them in different ways, leading to a realization that lifts them off the ground!
